Kuttey Movie – Should You Watch It This Weekend?

Kuttey, directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj and featuring an ensemble cast of impressive actors, falls into the category of movies that, despite having an intriguing plot and an incredible star cast, bomb at the box office.

Kuttey

While Kuttey premiered in cinemas on January 13th, it became available for streaming on Netflix on March 16th. I opted to see it, and I firmly believe that you should as well.

1. The Plot

Kuttey is a crime thriller that is all crimson from beginning to end.

The beginning of the narrative takes some time to get going, but once it does, it just takes off and doesn’t stop until the conclusion.

The film’s Appeal is that you cannot just guess what will happen next, which keeps you glued to your screens. It is tight, clear, and simply communicates the tale without wasting any frames.

Aasmaan Bhardwaj has unleashed his whole arsenal and boy! He just uses blood and situational violence without any remorse.

2. The Cast

In the multi-starrer Kuttey, stars like Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ashish Vidyarthi, Kumud Mishra, and Arjun Kapoor are among the best in the business.
The cast did a fantastic job, and the best part is that they are all strong and vulnerable depending on the circumstances.

Although Arjun Kapoor’s emotions are still uninteresting, the rest of the ensemble makes up for it.

3. The Music & The Colors

Kuttey

I became aware of Asmaan Bhardwaj’s stylistic borrowings from Quentin Tarantino while seeing Kuttey.

The background music, color schemes, and frame designs all appear to have drawn extensively from Quentin’s Kill Bill and Django Unchained.

Aasmaan may be making his directorial debut with Kuttey, but I think he did a wonderful job and has demonstrated an incredible command of the craft.
