Difference Between Bard vs ChatGPT

In the battle for generative artificial intelligence (AI), Google has taken a significant move by declaring that it is developing Bard, a ChatGPT rival.
Google said that their chatbot will be live “in the coming weeks” as an obvious reaction to ChatGPT, the enormously popular AI chatbot created by the tiny San Francisco-based business OpenAI and supported by Microsoft.

The battle to discover what many think will shape Internet searches in the future has increased in response to Google’s revelation. It comes amid rumors that the greatest web search business in the world is worried that ChatGPT, which is becoming more and more popular, would surpass it.

The business has not, however, made any preparations to combine Bard with Google Search results.

The key difference between ChatGPT and Google’s Bard

It seems that Google has a secret weapon up its sleeve to compete with ChatGPT: the capacity to gather data from the Internet. According to Google’s blog post, “It (Bard) relies on information from the web to offer new, high-quality replies.”

Although to varied degrees of accuracy, ChatGPT has wowed with its capacity to reply to complicated inquiries. However, this technology’s largest drawback may be its inability to acquire real-time information from the Internet.

The language model used by ChatGPT was trained using a sizable dataset, although the dataset currently only contains data up to 2021.

In an example provided by Google, it looks like Bard will synthesize a response reflecting several viewpoints in cases when there may not be a simple solution.
If someone asked, “Is it easier to learn the guitar or the piano?” they could get the response, “Some think the piano is simpler to learn since the finger and hand movements are more natural… Some claim that learning chords on the guitar are simpler.
